A few weeks ago, during worship, I heard the Lord say, “Consecrate in October.”
Today, our church is ushering in October with a 24-hour worship session starting today at noon and running through noon tomorrow.
At the time of its conception, we had no idea the timing was perfectly coordinated with Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles. I believe that the word from the Lord was released specifically for America to realign the heart of our nation with the will of our Heavenly Father. This is a call for the followers of Jesus Christ in America to consecrate ourselves in October, humbling ourselves and praying and seeking God’s face and turning from our wicked ways, so that the Lord will hear from heaven, will forgive our sin and will heal our land.
What are we to do during this time?
- Pray and seek God’s face
- Hear God’s will for us, our family, and our land.
- Repent for our land and realign our hearts and focus back to the Lord.
- Repent from all sin, pride, and selfish motives.
