Within the church, the enemy rarely comes as a serpent, having horns and wielding a pitchfork. On the contrary, most frequently, the enemy comes as an angel of light, displaying amazing gifts and power and appearing as innocent as a dove seeking to influence the flock and its leaders under the guise of humility and servitude, appearing as people of righteousness but on the inside are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. They come to us disguised in sheep’s clothing but are ferocious wolves inwardly.

SEVEN KEYS TO DISCERNING THE WOLVES AND GOATS FROM THE SHEEP:

  1. Know God intimately
  2. Know the Bible
  3. Know God’s character
  4. Know God’s ways
  5. Do not forsake the gathering
  6. Surround yourself with many wise counsel
  7. Be filled with and trust the Holy Spirit
