Last Sunday at our church’s evening service, I heard the Lord say: “To ascend you must descend.”
His statement was followed by the sound of thunder and the sound of rain. As the raindrops made the sound of pitter-patter on the ground, I heard the Lord say, “The rain is coming. You must descend to ascend.” Then I saw our church sanctuary become flooded with waist-deep water, God’s glory! Then the Lord said, “I am calling you lower, into the deeper places. You must go low to enter in. How low are you willing to go to be immersed and saturated? The more of Me you seek, the more you will find. I am found in the deeper waters.”
PRAYER
As Your thunder rumbles and Your rains fall, may your flood waters overtake me, Lord. Abba Father, take me deeper and deeper. I want more of you Lord. More of You. More of You.

Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.
